UPDATE: Northwest Studio Ballet Announcement
March 19, 2020

Dear parents and students,

It was announced today that the City of Fresno has ordered all non-essential businesses to close from Thursday, March 19 until March 31. The health and safety of our students, their families and our instructors is of the utmost importance to us. With this in mind, we are taking all recommended precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Following the orders of the City, Northwest Ballet will be closed from March 19 through March 31.

We are planning to reopen on April 1 but as this is a rapidly evolving situation, please visit our website for updates. We still plan to have Recital 2020 on June 19 and begin the summer session on June 29 but rescheduling may be required. Again, please visit our website for updates.

Joy Thiesen, our guest faculty member, has created an online ballet class. Please use the Zoom link below to connect to her class. This is open to Northwest Studio Ballet students who are in classes Level 3 through 4&5. Since this is a simple barre exercise, Open Ballet and Ballet 2 students can join too. This is her contribution to the Ballet Community and is free of charge to you. Starting 3/19 at 5pm is the first simple barre class. This is a trial class and if this works, she plans to offer this twice a week.
